Gift Certificates
When using a certificate to make a reservation, please quote the
gift certificate number on the back. Please bring that to the front
reception desk upon arrival to the Spa.
Cancellations
24 hrs notice is required for weekdays and 48 hrs. notice for
weekend appointments, services will be cancelled at no charge. Less
than this will result in 50% of the service price charged or 50%
redemption of gift certificate. Failure to show will result in the
entire package or service being redeemed or charged.
Where exactly are you located?
We are located at 3140 Telegraph Road. Between Main st and Mills Rd
in Ventura Ca.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is ample parking on the street, in the driveway, or in
back via the laneway.
What should I bring with me when I visit the Spa?
We encourage casual clothing.
How much notice do you require if I need to reschedule or
cancel my appointment?
Treatment rooms and services you select are reserved especially for
you, please notify us 24 hrs. in advance if you must cancel. ( 48
hrs. for packages.) All packages and Spa days are to be reserved by
credit card;
How far in advance should I book my appointment to be sure I get the
time & day I want?
We cannot guarantee a set time & day for you. Please contact us at
your earliest convenience to avoid disappointment.
How far in advance should I arrive before my appointment?
You should arrive 10-15 mins. before any spa treatment.
What happens if I’m late for my appointment?
Please understand that if you are late for your appointment it will
be necessary to shorten or reschedule your treatment time so as not
to delay service for the next client.
Do you have treatments available for men?
We have equal treatments available for both men & women.
Can I substitute a treatment of equal value for another treatment?
You may substitute a treatment of equal value for another treatment
pending schedule and availability.
What do I wear for my massage?
Our therapists have been trained to respect the ultimate privacy of
clients. During each treatment, the areas of the body not involved
are completely covered and therapists leave the room to allow you to
disrobe.
I’ll be visiting The Spa with a friend, can we be together?
Just explain what kind of occasion it is and we can help you design an enjoyable time
together.

As both a salon and day spa, we have many popular services that our
customers enjoy. Our most popular salon services are hair cuts and
styles. Our most popular spa service is the DNA Organic Facial,
which cleans and exfoliates your skin while your head, shoulders and
arms are massaged with aromatherapy lotions and oils.
I’ve never been to a spa—what can I expect when I arrive for
a spa service?
When you arrive at Club Salon for your appointment, a Salon team
member will greet you and directed you to our lounge until your service provider calls for you. If you have any
questions at any time during your spa visit, a Spa member is
available to assist you.
Does Club Salon offer free hair consultations?
Absolutely. Our team of stylists are more than happy to arrange a
free consultation to discuss your hair style with you. Our stylists
will help you understand what hair styles work best for your
specific face shape and hair texture, what styles will fit your
lifestyle needs, how to best manage your hair type, and more.
I got my hair hilighted and now the roots are showing. Is
there less costly treatment to hilight only the roots?
While every one is different, it’s natural for hilights to begin
growing out as early as six weeks after receiving them. If you’re a
blonde, we can offer you a service called “breaking the base,” in
which color is placed on the new growth to soften the outgrowth.
This color is only about a ½ of a shade lighter than your natural
color. Another option is to consider lowlights instead of hilights.
The outgrowth from lowlights is less noticeable than with hilights.
I encourage you to consult with your stylist about which option is
right for you.
I recently cut my waist-length hair to a short, funky look.
It’s cute—but I miss my hair. Do you offer hair extensions?
Club Salon is one of the first salons in Ventura that offers Great
Lengths hair extensions—the same brand worn by Jennifer Anniston,
Brittany Spears, Cameron Diaz and Faith Hill. Great Lengths hair
extensions are unique because they are bonded to your own hair to
create a completely natural and virtually imperceptible point of
attachment. The extensions are made from 100 percent human hair,
come in 40 colors or shades, four lengths and three thicknesses. We
believe that hair extensions are a great way to replace lost length
or to enhance your look as you grow your hair out.
My hair is dry, has split ends and is
incredibly frizzy. Is there any treatment that can improve the
condition of my hair? I also have a few random curls that I’d like
to get rid of. What can I do?
Long, dry winter months
seem to be especially hard on our hair. The best solution to the
problems you mentioned is to ensure that you maintain a regular hair
regimen. We suggest that you consult with your stylist to find a
hydrating shampoo, moisturizing conditioner and a styling product to
manage your hair’s frizzy nature. Your stylist will likely recommend
a hair care “prescription” that includes ideas on how often to
shampoo and how much product to use. Also schedule regular
appointments to get your hair trimmed to snip off those split ends
since that’s the only way to eliminate them. A consultation with
your stylist should address all of your concerns.
I have naturally wavy and frizzy hair that I blow dry and
straighten each morning. But it gets wavy and frizzy by the end of
the day. What can I do?
There are several options for you to discuss with your stylist. A
Brazillian straightening service would virtually erase the wave and
frizz from your hair, making it much more manageable. Alternatively,
using a flat iron will keep your hair smooth and frizz-free all day.
I’ve recently heard of partial perms. Who do you recommend
them for and what is their purpose?
As with any perming techniques, a partial perm is designed to add
body and fullness to your hair. A partial perm is typically directed
to the crown or nape area and is most often used to enhance a
particular style by adding volume and texture. We recommend that
anyone considering a full or partial perm consult with a stylist to
ensure the hair is in good condition to support the perm.
I have heard that artificial nails can damage natural nails.
Is this true?
While all artificial nail products will weaken the nail a little,
this damage is not permanent. And, a proper artificial nail
application and removal should help to preserve the overall health
of your nails. At Club Salon, we offer Light Concept Nails and
Creative Nail Acrylic. Both products tend to be a bit gentler on the
natural nail.
What are nail fills?
A nail fill is actually a maintenance service performed on
artificial nails. Because the natural nail will continue to grow
even after artificial nails are applied, a gap can form between the
cuticle and the artificial product. This area can be filled in by
applying additional product.
